Metamorphosis

The curiosity to know why we have come into existence, the whole purpose and direction of our growth as a species as a form of life... ZAP suddenly today I just thought of something... a word... It suddenly made sense... Why a species become extinct when the sole purpose of life "seems" survival, even a technologically advanced species like us cannot help but run towards extinction..
we know it in our heart we cannot survive for long but still do the very things that will ultimately lead us to our destruction... Its like we have pressed this auto-destruct button long ago and we are helpless cant stop it... But why... Metamorphosis... yah that seems the most logical explanation for the eventual direction we are taking... We or rather I take human species into perspective rather than taking life into perspective.. We cannot help it I guess.. But like the dinosaurs that once crawled the earth and eventually became extinct.. A similar fate awaits us... All this is a process of creating a species which can survive through all situations... Across space and time... SO conclusion we are just a phase just like a caterpillar that will become a butterfly one day.. We are a part of that metamorphosis..
